A series of different data including traffic and movement, economic, community and contextual data will be collected at key points before and during the trial, and after the trial should the scheme be made permanent. A baseline report has been produced which provides the pre-trial data. The report is available to view here.
During the trial, a monthly interim assessment will be undertaken utilising readily available traffic data to understand the impacts of the Portswood Project. These will be made available to the public on this page as soon as they become available.
An interim 3-month report has been completed assessing the impacts on traffic, cycle and pedestrian flows on Portswood Road and surrounding area, and parking on Portswood Road and Westridge Road. These repeat the pre-scheme baseline traffic, pedestrian, cycle and parking surveys done in July 2024 as reported in the Baseline Report.
