Project Details
Footbridge Painting - from Tuesday 4 May for up to 8 weeks
To undertake the footbridge painting safely, we will need to fully close the footbridge 24/7 and close Thomas Lewis Way overnight between 8pm and 5am from 4 May for up to 6 weeks.
As this work will be done at height over the road, we have made the decision to fully close Thomas Lewis Way during working hours to minimise the risk to our workforce and the public. This is being completed overnight to reduce disruption to the area.
Following this, we will need to keep the bridge fully closed for a further 2 weeks, but Thomas Lewis Way will reopen two-way, with only signage and coned lengths required.
A signed Pedestrian Diversion route will be in place for the duration.
