This funding supported delivery of Bus Service Improvement Plan ambitions, including the continuation of the £1 evening bus fare and group travel offer (5 for £5) and provided new or enhanced evening and weekend services to Sholing (BS10), Harefield (BS13) and Lordshill (BS19). The funding was also used to promote bus services and kickstart two new bus services in Shirley (BS21 and BS22) and along Hill Lane (BS19a) to better connect residents to local schools, leisure and recreation facilities and shops. |
