How: £1.225m funding from the Government's Active Travel Fund

Southampton City Council has received £1.225m from the Government's Active Travel Fund to create better spaces for walking and cycling.

We'll be engaging with local residents, businesses, emergency services and other key stakeholders to get feedback and work together to shape schemes before they are put in place. We'll be consulting in a number of ways including with public opinion surveys and online consultation events. We'll share further details about this in due course.
